Hatzolah of Tosh a first responder agency staffed by 10 volunteers 2 ambulances and cars. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including on Shabbos and Yom Tov. There is absolutely no charge for utilizing our emergency services.
Hatzolah of Tosh was started by Rabbi Israel Lowen in 1975, and is still under his guidance today. The emphasis to develop Hatzolah was over 25 years ago after a tragic accident took the life of a man. The man was electrocuted, and because the response time for the emergency medical services was over 30 minutes–he died. He was a young man, one who’s life probably could have been saved with proper emergency medical intervention. Today Hatzolah makes such intervention immediately available, G-d forbid it is necessary.
